Typical uses

Performance

  1. Excellent adhesion to substrates, including old paint.

  2. Outstanding durability maintaining flexibility for the life of the system.

  3. Good flow and sanding properties.

  4. Low sheen ensures exceptional enamel holdout.

  5. Seals waxes used in the manufacture of composite and fibre board.

  6. Compatible with waterborne and solventborne topcoats.

Limitations

  1. Do not apply at temperatures below 10°C or when it is liable to drop below 10°C during the drying period.

  2. Do not apply as a first coat over weak or powdery surfaces.

  3. Do not apply as a first coat over metal surfaces.

  4. Do not use where severe water staining exists.

  5. Will not block tannin staining.

  6. Exposed bare or cracked timber usually accumulates windblown salt. Before using a totally waterborne system, remove the salt by prolonged washing. Alternatively, use a solventborne undercoat.
