The project brief for the designer was to enhance the creative potential for the space.
With an indoor hydrotherapy pool and a dedicated mind and body studio combined with state of the art gym equipment, cable and plate loaded machines and personal trainers, the extended Norths Fitness on Abbott Street, Cammeray is not only a gym but a hub for wellness activities. The renovation and extension of the existing gym has seen the floor area expand dramatically to 1400 square metres from the original 400 square metres. The near fourfold increase in space includes an update and extension of all facilities complemented by a generous 300 dedicated carparks.
The project brief for the designer was to enhance the creative potential for the space. The team defined spaces with feature walls and studio rooms in Environmental Choice approved Resene Zylone Sheen waterborne low sheen tinted to Resene Iko Iko (mustard green) which connects perfectly with the splashes of wallpaper used throughout the interior.
The physicality of the machines and the soothing wall tones are combined with professional staff to ensure all comers enjoy exercise and wellness advice tailored to their lifestyle.
