Abstract glass painting
It’s easy to create this vibrant reverse painting on glass with a little bit of help from Resene.

You will need
To get the look: Mark painted the background wall with Resene SpaceCote Flat tinted to Resene Romantic.
Other ideas: For a monochrome effect use a selection of Resene whites, greys and black.
How to make an abstract glass painting
Step one
Remove the backing board from the picture frame.
Step two
Wipe the glass with a clean cloth.
Step three
Remove the spacers from the picture frame and apply a bead of silicon around the edge of the glass.
Step four
Carefully replace the spacers and allow the silicon to dry.
Step five
With the picture frame face down, carefully drip a circle of
Resene Pursuit in the centre of the glass and then drip a ring of Resene Anakiwa around this.
Step six
Follow this with rings of Resene Havelock Blue and Resene Half Resolution Blue, as shown.
Step seven
Then drip rings of Resene Bowie and Resene Captain Cook.
Step eight
Finally drip rings of Resene Blue Lagoon, Resene Bunting and Resene Salsa. Allow the paint to dry thoroughly and then replace the backing board.
