Here's another idea: For a fabulous red effect use a piece of bright red glitter foam board and a testpot of Resene Chaos.

Craft tin
Another idea: Use red glitter board for another effect.
Step one
Lightly sand the can to ‘key’ the surface.
Step two
Wipe off any sanding residue with a clean cloth.
Step five
Apply a second coat of
Resene Point Break to the can and allow two hours to dry.
Step six
Turn the glitter foam board the right side down and then measure and mark a strip to fit around the can.
Step seven
Carefully cut the glitter foam board using a craft knife and metal ruler - you might need a grownup to help with this bit.
Step eight
Brush a layer of PVA glue onto the back of the glitter foam board and carefully place around the tin. Use the elastic bands to hold the glitter foam board in position until the glue dries.
