Another idea: Hot dog
Step one
Prime the MDF with one coat of Resene Quick Dry and allow to dry for two hours.
Step two
Paint the MDF with one coat of
Resene Sassy and allow two hours to dry. Paint the MDF with a second coat of Resene Sassy and, before it dries, paint a band of
Resene Clowning Around across the base, as shown, allowing the two colours to blend. Leave to dry for two hours.
Step three
Cut out the assortment of magazine photos, as shown – you might need a grown-up to help with this bit.
Step four
Apply a generous coat of Resene Art Action glaze across the centre of the MDF, as shown.
Step five
Place the cat cut-out onto the wet Resene Art Action glaze and press down firmly, smoothing out any wrinkles. Repeat with the jewellery, hair and mouth cutouts, as shown. Allow to dry for two hours.
Step six
Using the sequins and Resene Art Action glaze, write the words ‘Glamour Puss’ across the painting, as shown. Allow to dry for two hours. Meow!!!
