You will need: Paintbrushes (including artists’ brushes), Polystyrene head (ours came from ‘Spotlight’), Resene Quick Dry, Resene testpots in the following colours: Resene Alabaster, Resene Bright Red, Resene Nero, Resene New York Pink, Resene Shakespeare and Resene Tonys Pink
Top tip: If you want a shiny look, finish your superhero sculpture off with two coats of Resene Art Action glaze (gloss), allowing two hours for each coat to dry.

Step three
Paint in the whites of the eyes using Resene Alabaster, and once dry, paint in the eye colour with two coats of Resene Shakespeare. Allow two hours for each coat to dry.
Step four
Paint in the hair, eyebrows, eyelash lines and pupils with two coats of Resene Nero, allowing two hours for each coat to dry.
Step five
Paint in the lips with two coats of Resene New York Pink, allowing two hours for each coat to dry.
Step six
Paint a small highlight in each eye with a dot of Resene Alabaster and paint the neckline of the cloak with two coats of Resene Bright Red, allowing two hours for each coat to dry. What a hero!
