Background to mural creation:
This mural gave the opportunity for student voice in the arts to be represented. We had a blank wall in our classroom, and decided it would be a great way to bring our class together to decorate it with a mural. We chose an outside artist, Maddox Loy (Year 5), to come up with the design as he is known as a creative amongst teachers. Our class chose their favourite design, and we went from there.
