Background to mural creation:
A new toilet block near the domain needed brightening up. The community board thought it would be wonderful for the local school children to design and paint a mural that shows all the important aspects of the town. The mural also needed to be completed in time for the 'Highland Games' - an annual event that sees the entire community come together to watch and enter Highland Games activities like tossing the cabre.
