Background to mural creation:
The mural was part of Year 11 students’ internal assessments. Each student had to choose at least two animals and combine them with a subject or space in the school. The different animals represent the diversity within our school and community. Angie Dennis and Blaine Fontana were used as artist models and the composition/layout of the work was inspired by the works of Richard Killeen. The individual works were assembled to create two larger works which take pride of place on the outer walls of the school buildings for students, staff and visitors to enjoy.
