The water cycle and our native gardens.
Background to mural creation:
The students wanted to show a visual representation of the classrooms which are named after the water cycle. Te Roto, Te Puna, Te Waipuna, Te Awa, Te Wairere, Te Wainui and Te Moana. The students designed a kowhaiwhai to wrap around the front of the school and the classrooms. On the back classrooms the native garden with some of the plants and trees planted is represented.
