Background to mural creation:
I designed this mural as a visual and interactive aid to help our year 3/4s self-regulate and manage their own emotions and learn strategies to help them do so outside of school. It has five stations, one for star jumps to get bodies moving, one for pushing the wall to alleviate tension, a maze to help distract and calm, a breathing exercise and a body scan to help relax tense muscles.
