Paint colour isn’t only about large expanses of wall. Today’s interiors layer colours and accents for rich effect – a hit of yellow here, a shot of bitter green there. Accent colours are often assumed to be bold and bright but the current bias is towards accent colours that are dense and rich, whether it’s saturated jewel tones or earthy colours with a sharp edge.
