Old meets new

The kitchen had undergone a horrific makeover in the 70s, which had completely deteriorated by the time Danny moved in to his Art Deco house.

The new kitchen is a mixture of new and recycled parts, making it feel like it's the original kitchen and giving it more of a 30s look. The choice of Resene Soft Apple was inspired by a green 30s dinner set, which is displayed in the dining room, complemented by Resene Quarter Dutch White, and with Resene white paint on the floor.
