Paint over

Resene Cutty Sark has been used in the sewing room nook

Matched to the sea on a vintage map, the fireplace surround and deco cupboard-shelving unit in the bedroom are painted in Resene SpaceCote Low Sheen tinted to Resene Secrets.  The original very ugly' brick fireplace was first blocked, plastered and shelved using old rimu tongue and groove.

The wooden panelling in the lounge was painted over in Resene Pearl Lusta, which was continued through to the two bedrooms and bathroom.  Internal doors are finished in Resene Lustacryl tinted to Resene Monza and trims throughout are in Resene Half Spanish White.  The sewing room nook is Resene Cutty Sark over old textured wallpaper in a beach bach meets Georgian study' look.  The blanket box distressed harlequin pattern was achieved with leftover Resene Cutty Sark, Resene Monza, Resene Lipstick alongside Resene Clockwork Orange, Resene Devoted and Resene Aluminium test pots, topped in a handmade cushion.
