Decorating inspiration gallery
36 months and counting
The Markham family achieved this firstly by looking at their environmental surrounds also including the neighbouring buildings. Product quality and ease of use were paramount requirements for the foundation of success for their project. So with 30 years plus of using Resene products they were confident the Resene range would meet their expectations. Externally, Resene Lumbersider waterborne low sheen paint tinted to Resene Grey Friars is on the barge boards matching the new long run iron. This is complemented by Resene Surrender on the Titan Board, Resene Limelock then Resene X-200 weathertight membrane tinted to Resene Trojan on the plastered bricks and Resene Half Foundry on the building substructures.Inside they used Resene Lustacryl tinted to Resene Cloudy for the door/window frames and skirting boards. All internal doors were commercially sprayed using the same colour. The two splashbacks were sprayed with Resene Silver Aluminium and Resene Bright Red. Resene Frontier is used on three of the walls in one bedroom, while the remaining walls have been wallpapered using wallpapers from the Resene collection. Resene SpaceCote Low Sheen waterborne enamel tinted to Resene Nomad is used in the kitchen and scullery areas. Resene Half Spanish White covers all surfaces in the internally accessed garage. To complete the interior finish, the feature concrete block wall in the dining room is sealed and highlighted with clear Resene Multishield+ Gloss.
