They loved the smokey, dark colours that they had used in their previous home and were thrilled to find a huge range to choose from.

Resene Double Alabaster provided a clean, white canvas in the main living areas, and then the hunt for the perfect ‘almost black’ was on. After trialling lots of Resene testpots, Resene Fuscous Grey was the winner, contrasting perfectly with Resene Double Alabaster.

The next decision was to choose a colour in the hallway that would complement the lounge area, which could be seen through the door.They kept coming back to Resene Periglacial Blue after trying an array of other colours, as it has a soft and peaceful feel, and goes beautifully with their eclectic decorating pieces.
