After years of renovation projects and hard work, the Bryant family finally saved enough money to buy their dream home on the beachfront.
Affectionately known locally as the Gingerbread House, the 1970s bungalow was in need of some TLC as it had been a rental.

While the kitchen and bathrooms had been modernised they felt the cool colours weren't showing them off to their full potential. The kitchen is very unique and industrial looking but was painted a dark grey which made it feel cold and lifeless. They knew it needed a splash of colour and when they saw the new Resene The Range fandeck they all instantly loved Resene Smashing.
They had originally planned to paint the bathrooms a neutral colour but decided that Resene Smashing would really make a statement. Many visitors have said they would never have thought to paint a bathroom red but that they would definitely do it after seeing ours.
They also added a wall to the bedroom to create much needed storage space and once again used Resene Smashing with a white frame to bring the room to life.

Thanks to the Bryant family.
