Having always had a passion about interiors going through the process of choosing a colour palette for their home was a pleasure for Annabel working with the team at Resene Oamaru. Their knowledge and expertise ensured she had the support to make the right decisions.

The palette includes a mix of blues and greys with white and their daughter's bedroom in pink.

Resene Quarter Fuscous Grey in the spare bedroom creates a moody warmth to contrast with white curtains and accessories. The main living area is finished with Resene Half Milk White – its milky depth is the perfect backdrop for artwork and accessories in this busy family living space.

In the entrance and hallway Resene Powder Blue and Resene Half Milk White make a nice welcome contrasted with red accessories and artwork.

Other Resene colours used inside are Resene Tuna in the media room, Resene Periglacial Blue in the ensuite, Resene Pot Pourri in their daughter's room, Resene Half Milk White in their's son's bedroom, spare room and master bedroom and Resene Quarter Fuscous Grey in the garage.

Outside they wanted a deep earthy colour to complement the rural surrounds and to make their green plantings stand out. Resene Half Ironsand works perfectly.

As a result of working through this process with Resene and building their house Annabel has just completed her Diploma of Interior Design online and has launched the interior styling side of her business.
