Lovely in green

This bathroom was created from a hall cupboard and kitchen pantry that had actually been the original bathroom in the house.

The house is a small wooden cottage type with a lean to bathroom, laundry and kitchen from a previous renovation. This renovation involved shifting the bathroom into the body of the house and reallocating the lean to space so that the kitchen now occupies the north facing side of the house.

Resene Pale Leaf on walls, Resene Norway on the vanity front and Resene Highland for the body of the bath

The laundry is included in the new rear entry and the kitchen has a small seating area. There is also a new set of doors out to a small deck facing the back garden.

Sue chose the main colours and Resene wallpaper, with Resene Pale Leaf on walls, Resene Norway on the vanity front and Resene Highland for the body of the bath. Les White (of Trade Related Decorating in Timaru) suggested using Resene Quarter Spanish White for the trims when he saw the other colours Sue had chosen, as this warm white would be a good foil for the greens.

Sue loves her new bathroom and could not be happier with the way it has turned out.

Thanks to Sue.
