Retro right

Jane's 1979 house required a complete makeover internally and because she loves the retro look and warm and bright colours, she chose colours that make her feel cheerful and which add a warm and retro look to the interiors.

The living room and exterior fascias were painted Resene Puerto Rico because there are days when the Nelson harbour, which she has a view of, is sometimes that very colour. Jane loves to feel her house is at one with the sea.

Resene Wild Thing in the hallway is a great colour for hanging art works and the Resene Flash Point red in her bedroom enables her to wake each morning and feel good about the day. The kitchen is finished in Resene Deep Koamaru and Resene Citrus, with Resene Bitter Lemon in the dining room.

Resene Cupid in the guest room is a warm and welcoming colour and shows off the artworks she has with pink overtones.

The exterior is predominantly white and previously the fascias were painted black. Jane chose the exterior paint Resene Puerto Rico to add a sea/coastal element to the house.
