Pink-k-k-k!

When Alexia and her family moved into their new home two years ago she knew she wanted to incorporate pink into the house somewhere. It was a blank canvas just waiting to be painted!

Alexia is obsessed with pink (her hair even used to be hot pink!!) so she started buying pink accessories and then hunted for the perfect table to be painted pink. This pink table is now the centrepiece for the living/dining area. Resene Colour Me Pink and Resene Sweet Pink were the perfect pinks.

Next was the wall – a statement area that drew some colour into the room and also helped give the feeling the area was bigger. Everything else has been painted crisp Resene White. The dining chairs and her grandfather’s old rocking chair are next to be reupholstered. As an added touch there is a hot pink mirror as you enter the house but the pink table is most definitely the centrepiece!
