Timely update

Nick and Toni’s new 1920s cottage needed an update.

The kitchen was last done up 10 years ago with a large maroon feature wall and red tiles. They wanted a more lived in, homely feel with pops of colour.

The walls have been painted in Resene Double Tea with a strip of Resene Soft Apple to add some colour into the kitchen, along with the shelf racks painted Resene Shocking and Resene Vista Blue.

They found an old 1930s bench at their local secondhand yard and painted it with Resene Pearl Lusta. Nick and Toni then turned their attention to their old Formica® table and six old chairs and gave them a new lease on life with Resene Shocking, Resene Spray, Resene Pearl Lusta, Resene Mantis, Resene Sweet Corn and Resene Vista Blue.

All up the paint makeover includes ten colours – Resene Double Tea, Resene Tea, Resene Shocking, Resene Spray, Resene Perfume, Resene Pearl Lusta, Resene Mantis, Resene Vista Blue, Resene Sweet Corn and Resene Blackboard Paint.
