Budget friendly makeover
Jessica and her husband have recently decorated their kitchen/dining area. They decided on Resene Quarter Napa for the wall colour, with a clever triangle feature of Resene Tango.
They were lucky enough to be gifted the kitchen cabinets, which they have had recoated in Resene White. The painting, using Resene Sushi, Resene Wild Thing, Resene Java and Resene Tango, was a school holiday project with Jessica’s two daughters, which really finishes off the retro theme.
The kitchen is still a work in progress with Jessica and her husband doing all the work, with some tiling and kick boards to be installed. Jessica is proud of the fact that they have managed a great looking space on the smell of an oily rag, which is such a kiwi thing to do. After 11 weeks of having no kitchen and cooking mainly on their BBQ, it is a great pleasure now to have a lovely relaxing space to work and eat in.
