The idea behind this project was to update each of the rooms from the 1970s and 1980s colours to a fresh colour palette, but retain the original 1970s feel by keeping the dark brown stain on the exposed wood. Rachael has used some of her favourite colours to give each room its own feature, alternating between colour on ceilings and walls.

The hallway has bold Resene Victoria on the ceiling, while bold Resene California features on library walls. In the living room a sunny Resene Gorse ceiling meets Resene China Ivory on walls. The playroom is fresh in Resene Curious Blue with Resene Half Pearl Lusta on the walls and ceiling.
