Cliff and Jackie decided it was time to paint their house again and at the same time give it a few alterations and additions to transform the whole look.

For the trim, which included eaves, barge board, posts, handrails and the balustrades, they replaced the white with Resene Truffle. The plywood and batten cladding is now Resene Groundbreaker and the roof Resene Stonewall.
A deck needed to be built around the side of the house to join the front deck up with the back deck. Before this could be started the existing half hexagonal roof had to be dismantled. It was then rebuilt above the new deck.
Jackie pre painted all that needed to be on the build and both set to the task off painting the house, including the adjoining flat which is still in the process of painting.
