Wonderful in white

Jon and Sophie are proud of the big changes they have already made to their kitchen, living room and hallway.

There were some serious dark browns and deep reds to hide when Jon and Sophie moved into their first home. They chose a couple of testpots of neutral shades they saw online but settled on Resene Quarter Thorndon Cream and Resene Eighth Thorndon Cream as recommended by a Resene ColorShop staff member.

The never-ending wood panelling needed Resene Enamel Undercoat first before being topcoated. Jon and Sophie love the result; the quality is great and it's made for some dramatic before and after photos!

They even painted the entire kitchen (cabinets, island and all) in Resene Lustacryl semi gloss waterborne enamel. Nobody believes them when they say they hand painted each door – it looks like they bought a whole new kitchen!

There is still a long list of DIY painting to do, starting with some greys and blues for the bedrooms, but Jon and Sophie are proud of the big changes they have already made to their kitchen, living room and hallway.
