Black Forest leads the way

Sandra and Greg downsized to this house a few years ago.

Resene Concrete and the window surrounds in Resene Stack

It needed a new roof, a new kitchen, a new garden – it was mostly lawn and new colours everywhere. The exterior was white with royal blue on the window sills. Inside was cream.

They chose Resene Grey Friars for the roof and spouting. Greg painted the house using Resene Concrete, the window surrounds in Resene Stack and the opening windows with Resene Half Stack. Greg also extended the pergola and stained it with Resene Woodsman Riverstone.

Sandra had always liked Resene Black Forest so they designed the new kitchen around that colour. They found a marble bench top that was mottled with both a Black Forest colour and also Pewter – so these became the colours of the interior. Resene Black Forest sets off the splashback perfectly. They carried Resene Black Forest through to the family dining room and the rest of the house is painted in Resene Pewter or Resene Half Pewter.

Sandra has just finished painting the inside because Greg added an ensuite and that seemed a good time to change the interior colour of the whole house.

Thanks to Sandra and Greg.
