Beachy and light
When Christine and her family moved into their home, this bedroom had two different colours - one a green and the other was a metallic blue due to the metal material used on the walls, which you'd expect to find in industrial buildings
The room gets a little bit of sun first thing in the morning but no sun in the afternoon so it was important that the colour was light. And being close to the beach, Christine also wanted a beachy feel to the room without being too over the top. She chose Resene Half Merino for the walls, Resene Silver Chalice for the feature wall, mirror and drawers and Resene Alabaster for the ceiling and shelves.
Christine had already used Resene Alabaster in two other rooms of the house and both her boys have a feature wall using Resene colours. The Resene ColorShop staff helped choose the colours and the right primer/sealer for the metal walls so they could be properly prepared before topcoating.
