A start of Scandi
Danielle and Ainslie loved this little house instantly for the view and the surrounding bush-clad section. The interior, however, needed some work!
The lounge featured gold and brown floral wallpaper and yellow skirting. Last summer Danielle decided to give it a makeover. They went for Resene Half Iron because they wanted to create a relaxed atmosphere that would complement the rimu floors and soft furnishings. Danielle likes the Scandi vibe at the moment, so she wanted a light, bright, neutral colour that would stand out against the white trim. This colour also allows her to play up some feminine features, like her pink cushions and her prints without looking too overly girly.
Danielle and Ainslie love renovating and can't wait to put a modern/Scandi spin on the rest of their house.
