The Grace family recently built a new four bedroom home on the outskirts of Tauranga, in a rural setting, describing the house as a 'timeless classic’ with a contemporary twist.

You could say they are an arty kind of family. Laura is an art teacher who runs after school art classes and holiday art workshops for children. Their two children enjoy their art and have attended many of Laura’s workshops, which focus on students creating artwork that is fresh, current and can be proudly hung on any wall. They use Resene testpots to get beautiful, vibrant and in vogue colours that kids love.
So when it came to decorating the children’s bedrooms in this new build, it was important for them to be able to display their artwork and rearrange it if they wished to at any stage without damaging the walls! A floating pegboard wall was used as a feature. Laura let them take control of their colour palette. Briar age 9 chose Resene Riptide to complement her favourite colour pink with accents of black and gold. Conrad age 11 chose Resene French Grey to sit more quietly with his orange and yellow accessories.

Thanks to the Grace family.
