Colour from the basement up

The Muskett family has a basement area under their four bedroom home. This was built of concrete block and in fill flooring formed the ceiling.

On the western side they created an open plan TV/bar/sitting room. The beach bar walls and beams are painted in Resene Lumbersider in Resene Orchid White, with the ceiling in Resene Sandal. The garden room walls and beams are Resene Ottoman, with French doors window trim and entrance doors in Resene Lusta-Glo in Resene Bianca.

The garden room is dressed in a peaceful colour that blends with a view of the garden and sea. The beach bar is light, bright and airy with a dark ceiling as a contrast with wired track lights.

The entire house inside and out is decorated with Resene paints with a focus on gentle colours.
