Boldly going with colour

Their son learnt to climb out of his cot at 18 months so they moved him to a low bed where he couldn’t fall out and hurt himself. To define the area and create some fun Katy painted a little house using Resene All Black.

In their daughter’s room Katy hand painted a feature wall using Resene Sauvignon, Resene Can Can, Resene Ziggurat, Resene Morning Glory, Resene Solitude, Resene In The Mauve and Resene Alaska. The kids’ playroom is more neutral, using Resene Foundry.

The hallway is painted in a custom green that Resene ColorShop created from a piece of green card, while the master bedroom is Resene Zinzan. The kitchen cabinetry is Resene Black White with a tiled splashback. All rooms are teamed with Resene Alabaster.
