The final choice was Resene Jet Stream with Resene Alabaster trim. The colour is also picked up in the carpet and complements two paintings by Eastbourne artist Annie Hayward and favourite pottery.

The colour is continued with a half strength version of Resene Jet Stream through the dining room and hallway with coordinating Resene wallpaper feature walls.

To complete the look inside and out, the exterior is painted in Resene Gulf Stream which can be glimpsed through the window.

The colours feel happy and visitors regularly compliment the finish.
