When Patricia bought her home two years ago it was a boring grey… but not for long! Patricia soon decided to inject some life into it.
She started off with painting the porch Resene Ballerina, finishing it with a rose stencil. Patricia has a passion for stencils to bring individually to a project.
As time passed, Patricia took the plunge and painted Resene Pale Rose on the exterior which was not too obtrusive and certainly better than the grey! She felt the house needed extra punch so added Resene Pompadour on the gables.

The archway was built by her son, Philip, using a kitset, so that Patricia, a keen gardener, would have a place for her hanging baskets. The archway is painted in Resene Morning Glory and works so well that Philip was soon busy making a second one, which was painted in Resene Pukeko.
After finishing the outside Patricia’s attention turned to the garage. With plans to turn it into an art gallery, it needed a makeover and Resene Lucky Point was just the right colour.
Patricia admits she was a bit apprehensive about painting her home in pink but now loves the result as do friends and family.
It has certainly brightened up what was an old drab grey.
Thanks to Patricia.
