Blue as the night

Kelly has always liked the colour of dark blue and wanted a French look in her kitchen. The original paint was brown and tan, and very dated.

To update the kitchen wall friends and family suggested removing the cupboards and painting the spaces left with Resene Blue Night. They also helpfully pitched in with the painting, and also painted the bottom cupboards and drawers in the same colour.

The colour pairs perfectly with the Rimu floors and Rimu blinds and looks good with the appliances. To clean them up, the door handles were polished and are now gleaming.

The freshly painted room looks so fresh and is a delight to cook in.

Kelly is looking forward to her next project, a new bench and pantry and then a room by room refresh with Resene colours.
