Sharyn loves the era of this 1920 bungalow, with its higher stud, leadlight windows and vintage features. She thinks it is the hairdresser in her that loves colour!
The architect who lives in San Francisco drew up plans from just a few photos and a brief to undergo this renovation. Sharyn wanted the new part of the home to blend in with the existing parts and feel like it had always been there.

The exterior is painted in Resene Half Baltic Sea on weatherboards. Resene Double Alabaster is used on all joinery inside and out.

They have used Resene Sea Fog on kitchen and bathroom walls. Their daughter Hannah has Resene Sea Fog on three walls and a feature wall of Resene FX Blackboard Paint, which she has had a blast drawing on with friends.
The lounge is painted in Resene Tom Thumb and the dining room in Resene Fire. The main bedroom is in Resene Crusoe with Resene Double Alabaster on windows, skirting and bathroom trims. One of the spare rooms has Resene Sea Fog and a feature wall of Resene True Blue. The hall walls are in Resene Napa with Resene Double Alabaster doors and trims. The new front entrance, step, fence and all outdoor furniture are stained in Resene Woodsman.
Thanks to Sharyn.
