Anything but cream

A love of the Hampton's decor inspired this hallway look. When Dianne purchased this home, everything was cream. The walls, ceiling, doors and the carpet cream, cream, cream and cream!

So as soon as they moved in, they set about changing the entrance to make the home feel like theirs. They added wainscoting to the bottom half and painted that a clean Resene Double Alabaster.

For the top half Dianne indulged her love of Resene Duck Egg Blue so that went on top. Then the doors needing painting and at the time The Block Australia was on TV and one couple was painting their doors black so Dianne was inspired and purchased Resene Madison to give them a dark blue moody feel.

The rest of the house has since been finished in Resene Double Alabaster with some softer feature walls.
