On the fence

Security, privacy, modernity and most importantly something affordable were key considerations for Diane's fencing project. With a limited budget guiding progress, Diane and her parents designed, built and painted the whole fence themselves over a period of four months.

The concrete pillars were finished in Resene Limelock, primed in Resene Quick Dry Acrylic Primer Undercoat and then topcoated in Resene Sonyx 101 tinted to Resene Granite Green, an earthy, modern look that will eventually match the colours being planned for the home's exterior.

The piece de resistance, the mosaic numbers, were made at a weekend Spotlight course.
