Warm and inviting

The Kerr family recently redecorated four rooms and the hallway in their home.

Resene Scotch Mist is a warm neutral

Because they loved the warmth and lightness of the Resene Scotch Mist colour that was already in the majority of the house, they used it to repaint the hallway. They continued the Resene Scotch Mist into the study, which had previously felt a little bleak and drab. It now feels much warmer and more inviting and is a wonderful room to work in.

Resene Amethyst Smoke in main bedroom

To create a calming effect in the main bedroom they chose Resene Amethyst Smoke for a feature wall, which tones in well with the Resene Scotch Mist on the other walls. It adds a gloriously moody and elegant ambience to the room that they love.

They used the Resene EzyPaint virtual painting programme to help them choose Resene Remy for the ensuite, providing romantic warm atmosphere to a formerly plain little room.

For fun they decided to mix their own colour for the main bathroom. Starting with Resene Remy they added Resene white and threw in two testpots of Resene Amethyst Smoke. The results were amazing and they now have a light, airy and very restful bathroom that tones in well with the rest of the house.

Thanks to the Kerr family of Wellington.
