Devoney chose Resene Cut Glass for Otis’ room, as she wanted a light fresh colour that invoked calm as well as play.

The front room now has a smoky understated feel, finished in Resene Beryl Green for the walls, Resene Coastal Blue for the woodwork and drawers in the corner painted Resene Spanish White.
Devoney chose Resene Cut Glass for Otis’ room, as she wanted a light fresh colour that invoked calm as well as play. Dash’s room is dark and small so she chose Resene Buttery White to reflect as much light as possible. The drawers in both the boys’ rooms are also painted with Resene colours – Resene Spanish White for the tiger and Resene Paris White for the elephants.

Devoney wanted to have a bit of fun in the hallway so she wallpapered with two different patterns from the black and white series and painted the linen cupboard Resene Ming.
Outside, the garden shed is painted Resene Spanish Green with Resene Everglade woodwork. To contrast with this she chose Resene Wicked for the berry frame and painted the garden beds with black stain to match the pre-existing fence.
