Decorating inspiration gallery
Making the mostMark and Katherine purchased a 1920s villa with an existing ‘safe’ neutral colour scheme. Unfortunately the colour scheme didn’t highlight the classic architectural features of a building of this era, neither did it suit the environment - a combination of a very well-established two acres, complete with large trees of the same age as the house, together with rapidly growing native plantings. They chose Resene Burnham for the main house with framing in Resene Eternity, skirting in Resene Midnight Moss, window trim in Resene White and the porch in Resene Spring Rain to accentuate the detailing on the house exterior as well as to blend more harmoniously with the grounds.
