Lize wanted something that would impart a modern sharp look, act as a dramatic backdrop to the garden, and still keep the continuity of the neighbouring units.

There were a few things Lize had to consider when choosing the colour palette for their renovation. Their house is the middle of three conjoint 1960s brick and wood units, surrounded by trees.
Lize wanted something that would impart a modern sharp look, act as a dramatic backdrop to the garden, and still keep the continuity of the neighbouring units. She chose Resene Zeus for the walls and deck, Resene Alabaster for the frames and Resene Chilean Fire as the feature front door colour.
The colour palette continued inside with Resene Delta on the walls of the bathroom and toilet, and benchtops in the bathroom and kitchen with Resene Zeus topcoated with a clear finish.
Lize is delighted with the results, and very proud to have done it all herself!
