Create a corkboard for this orderly office nook.

The rising popularity of portable devices doesn’t do away with the need for a home office. As a restful, well-ordered corner, this office nook has the storage you need and a pinboard made from rolls of adhesive cork painted in Resene Flintstone for a dusky brown finish. The wall, bookshelf, desk top and shelf are painted in Resene Quarter Atmosphere and the floor is stained in Resene Colorwood Rock Salt. The small vase is in Resene Nero, the angular vase is Resene Road Trip and the plant pot is Resene Gumboot.

Loam Office Chair in White, Carmel Table Lamp in Natural, Talia Basket in Natural/Black, Marble Mantel Clock, Rattan Basket in Natural (on floor), Naji Cushion in Grey/Black, Finney Cushion in White/Yellow, and Kerrigan Mug in Carbon from Freedom Furniture. Concrete Cones, House Doctor Vase, and Raw Oversized Mug in White from Indie Home Collective. Kreafunk Agroove White Speaker and Serax Vase Cactus from Allium Interiors.

Try this idea... Turn a corkboard into a mood board as you plan your decorating projects. Add inspirational images and clippings, as well as Resene paint swatches, fabric cuttings and even words that match the look you’re after.
