Serving tray makeover

Chopping board makeover

What’s better than a chopping board that’s beautiful enough to use as a serving tray as well? We took a plain wooden chopping board and spruced it up with an art deco-inspired pattern, using colours from the Resene range. Here's how easy it is to create your own.

You will need: Wooden chopping board, pencil and ruler, masking tape, paintbrushes, Resene testpots in your choice of colours. We used Resene Bardot, Resene Half Splash and Resene Meteor.

Top tip: Once used, wipe it clean and allow to air dry. Don’t place it in your dishwasher as that will damage the timber and the paintwork.
