Stencil terrazzo pattern
You will need:
- Cardboard for the stencil sheet
- Craft knife and pencil
- Plain white paper
- Sponges
- Resene testpots in your choice of colours; we used Resene Fast Forward, Resene Artemis, Resene Liberty, Resene Ethereal and Resene Moonlight
Step one
Make the stencil by drawing random abstract terrazzo shapes onto a piece of card. Once you’re happy with the pattern cut out the shapes with a craft knife.
Step two
Place stencil on the first section of paper. Dab paint on with the sponges. Make sure to create a sense of randomness to the Resene colours.
Step three
Move stencil along for next section. (To create a more random pattern over the paper turn the stencil to mirror image the first application beside it).
Step three
Move stencil along for next section. (To create a more random pattern over the paper turn the stencil to mirror image the first application beside it).
Top tip: For added glitz and glamour use Resene FX Metallic testpots.
