Create a Halloween inspired door mat to welcome trick or treaters to your home this Halloween.
This Halloween Pumpkin doormat is painted using Resene Rose Of Sharon, Resene Olive Green, Resene Fire and Resene Black. Doorstep in Resene Double Masala, door jamb in Resene Quarter Thorndon Cream, door in Resene Clockwork Orange and decking in Resene Woodsman Tiri.

- Resene testpot paints in your choice of colours, Fleur used:

Instructions
How to make your own DIY jack-o'-lantern door mat:
Step 1
Start by painting a pumpkin shape on to your doormat with Resene Rose Of Sharon. Note the door mat will absorb quite a bit of paint. You may need to do multiple coats.
Step 2
Next create the shading using Resene Fire blended with Resene Black and Resene Rose Of Sharon.
Step 3
Add a stalk using Resene Olive Green and Resene Black for the face.
Top tip: Add touches of shimmer with Resene FX Metallic paint to help your mat reflect more light in the early evening as the sun starts to set.
