How to paint strawberry pots

Paint terracotta pots in a strawberry look ready for you to plant your strawberry plants.
You will need
- Two stacking terracotta pots
- Resene Aquapel & Terracotta Sealer
- Paintbrush, including a small craft paintbrush
- Resene testpot paints in your choice of colour, Fleur used:
- Strawberry plants
- Potting mix

Top tip: Apply a final clear of Resene Clearcoat UVS which will give a gloss finish and will help protect the bright colours against fading.
Step 1
Start by sealing the terracotta pots with Resene Aquapel & Terracotta Sealer.
Step 2
When the sealer has dried, paint both pots with two coats of Resene Red Hot.
Step 3
Once the paint has dried, use a small craft paint brush to paint on faded, swirly circles with Resene Element. These are the shadows of the indents where the seeds will be.
Step 4
Finish by painting on the seeds with Resene Funk.
Step 5
Line the bottom of both pots with some stones, put in some good quality potting mix and add in the strawberry plants.
