Instructions

Step 1:  For this project you need an old/unwanted jigsaw puzzle or one that has some pieces missing. (Photo 1).

Step 2:  Start by painting a handful of pieces in your chosen Resene colours. Fleur used Resene Colour Me Pink, Resene Smitten, Resene Eminence and Resene Wonderland. (Photo 2).

Step 3:  While the paint is drying, cut out a heart shape from some cardboard. Make the heart about 1.5cm thick. (Photo 3).

Step 4:  Paint the cardboard heart with Resene Colour Me Pink and once this is dry, use a hot glue gun to glue the jigsaw pieces that are painted in Resene Colour Me Pink to the heart. (Photos 4 and 5).

Step 5:  Glue on the pieces that are painted with Resene Smitten. (Photo 6).

Step 6:  Finish by adding on the pieces that are painted in Resene Eminence and Resene Wonderland. (Photo 7).

Step 7:  Add a loop of ribbon to the back of the heart with some hot glue. (Finished project).

Top tip:  You can create wreaths in other colourways – try Resene Red Berry, Resene Daredevil, Resene Turbo, Resene Japanese Laurel, Resene Resolution Blue and Resene Pukeko for a rainbow inspired wreath.
