How to create your own simple painted pavers:
Step 1
Start by painting your pavers with Resene Concrete Primer.
Step 2
Once the primer is dry, apply two coats of Resene Walk-on or Resene Lumbersider in Resene House White.
Step 3
Cut a circle out of cardboard. Fleur made her circle slightly smaller than the size of the pavers. Use a pencil to trace around the circle.
Step 4
Position the pavers together and use the same cardboard circle to draw on another circle where four pavers meet.
Step 5
To finish the design, draw on a smaller circle in the middle of each paver. Fleur used an up-turned cup to make the circle.
Step 6
Paint the small circle and the intersecting arcs of the big circles with Resene Double Fuscous Grey.
Top tip: If your pavers are prone to being slippery when wet, use Resene Non-Skid Deck & Path for your topcoat – it’s grit texture will help reduce the risk of slipping.
