How to make your own Easter bunny bags
You will need
- Paper gift bags
- Paint brush, including a thin craft paintbrush
- Resene testpots in your choice of colours, Fleur used Resene Shilo, Resene Rusty Nail, Resene Brown Bramble, Resene Black, Resene Rouge and Resene White
- Scissors
- String
- Paper gift bags – you can re-use some bags that you already have at home or make your own from leftover heavy paper.
Instructions
Step 1
To make three bags, paint a bag each in Resene Shilo, Resene Rusty Nail and Resene Brown Bramble.
Step 2
Use scissors to cut the top of each bag to form ears.
Step 3
Use a thin craft paintbrush to paint on the face with Resene Black.
Step 4
Paint on the nose with Resene Rouge and two teeth in Resene White. Carefully go around the teeth with more Resene Black.
Step 5
Once all the paint it dry, fill each bag with your favourite Easter treats, tie the ears together with some string or ribbon (you may need to manipulate the ears into position a bit), and deliver/give to your love ones.
Top tip: Paint a bag incorporating each family member’s favourite Resene colour and use for an Easter egg hunt.
